Types of Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a type of asbestos cancer partikularly aggressive and very resistant to treatment. Mesothelioma is not a type of lung cancer primary, but it is a cancer that attacks the mesothelial membrant, which consists of two distinct layers, called the parietal layer and visceral. Actually there are three types of mesothelioma are recognized, there is pleural  mesothelioma, peritoneal mesothelioma and pericardial mesothelioma, but the type of pericardial mesothelioma is a very rare condition.
Pleural mesothelioma cancer is a disease caused by exposure to asbestos who exploited and developed in the mesothelial lining of the lungs known as pleural, and cause damage to the pleura, which makes it hard to breathe and chest pain. Which can lead to cancer. According to statistics, about 80 percent of all mesothelioma cases, is pleural mesothelioma.
Peritoneal Mesothelioma is a cancer that develops in the pleural lining the stomach or abdomen called the peritoneum and work to lubricate the organs in the abdomen. This is a form of mesothelioma is a rare, only about 10 to 20 percent of all mesothelioma cases.

Mesothelioma Symptoms


Mesothelioma symptoms similar to lung cancer. Among the symptoms are as follows:
-Heavy weight.
-Coughs constantly
-Pain in chest
-Shortness of breath
-Difficult to swallow
-Voice hoarse
-Nausea and vomiting, and loss of appetite.
  This condition if mesothelioma has invaded into the peritoneum.
